Corrie & Matthew were first introduced through Corrie’s sister and Matthew’s roommate, Joby whom were dating at the time. One evening Corrie joined her sister to meet up with Joby and Matthew. They hit it off immediately. Corrie’s sister & Joby eventually went their separate ways but will be eternally appreciated for their part in bringing Corrie & Matthew together.

The duo enjoyed spending all of their time with one another so much so they bought a condo in Downtown Brooklyn together. Though marriage was on the table, a permanent residence was priority!

There was no suspicion of a proposal as they were still getting settled as roomies!! It was after 8 months to be exact, when the deed was done and done quite well I might add. Corrie recalls, “I was sent on a bit of an odd scavenger hunt in midtown Manhattan which led me to the Top of the Rock. “ It was there that he proposed.

They were married on April 28th at the Thatched Cottage in Centerport. The room was decorated by, none other than, Flowers by Brian. Corrie cascaded down the aisle wearing a Winnie Couture gown and the groom wearing a custom designed suit from Alan David Custom. They danced the night away to the sounds of Parties Alive.

Thank you Corrie & Matthew!

Lauren & Rony

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.
– Roy Croft

Lauren & Rony’s tale begins at the University of Michigan where the two attended college. A party brought them into each other’s lives and that was all it took. In no time they went from strangers to partners.

The duo felt that laughter was a key ingredient to their relationship allowing them to really “just be themselves”. They both admit at times it was tough, but they always pulled together to overcome any challenge their relationship would bring. And as we all know love is always worth fighting for, and as result their love deepened.

After graduating Lauren & Rony moved to NYC together but made a point to visit Michigan as it was after all where it all began. With Rony being a huge Michigan fan, it was only natural for the two to head out to one of the most important games, Michigan vs. Notre Dame. Michigan won but that wouldn’t be the only victory for the day. After the game was over Rony took Lauren to the Michigan Diag, (a beautiful park in the middle of campus) and popped the question. Of course Lauren said yes and it was an overall triumph for the day!

Lauren & Rony were married on May 5th at the beautiful Oheka Castle in Long Island. It was truly magnificent! Thank you Lauren & Rony for allowing us to capture your special day!

Nothing is more amazing than taking part in capturing the most special moments of a person’s life.
These are the moments that are etched into our souls until the end of time. And these are the images, which are passed on from generation to generation to share who we are and where we came from!
What a joy to be able to document Lily & Tim’s first moments as husband and wife but even more so as mom and dad with baby Adrienne…
Thank you for allowing me to partake in representing your journey…

Nicole & Eric

“He likes to tell people I picked him up at a bar!” Nicole says, in which he redeems himself by saying, “As soon as I saw her I felt an immediate connection.” Good save!

Nicole & Eric actually met at a wedding, one we coincidentally photographed, and hit it off. They exchanged numbers and Eric immediately called her… 8am the next morning in fact! It was on from that point forward!

Eric works in finance and is often prompted to entertain clients with dinners and such. One evening they were to meet clients whom were staying at the Mandarin Oriental at their room and then for dinner at Per Se. As they opened the “clients” hotel room Nicole was taken aback. Thousands of cherry blossom trees, a favorite of hers, decorated the room. After scanning the room she noticed Eric on one knee. Of course she said yes! That wouldn’t be the only surprise. Eric arranged for the head chef at Masa to prepare their favorite meal right in the room! This was extremely extraordinary as Masa was the location in which their first “I love yous” were exchanged. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better…
He topped off the weekend, the following evening, by hosting a celebratory cocktail party at the hotel where they were joined by friends and family. Good work Eric!

Nicole & Eric were married on April 28th at Gotham Hall. David Beahm elegantly designed the room as Nicole floated down the aisle wearing non other than a Monique Lhuillier dress.

Thank you Nicole for sharing your day with us! As for Eric, thank you for showing us that there is still romance left in this world!!

Why should there only be 1 “Big Day”? Why immortalize a single day when it took more than that to fall in love? Who says you have to?
Check out this recent shoot of one of our bride and grooms. Sometimes taking them out of their position as “bride & groom” can allow them to be a man & woman who are just, in love!
