You never know what lies right next door….For Denise & Craig it was their future…
Denise & Craig met at the tender age of 4 in Scotland where the two still reside. They were next-door neighbors and even attended their first day of school together where they were in the same class. They often played together as children but all would come to a halt when at age 11 Denise moved away.
The couple was reunited at a nightclub now as teenagers. 17 to be exact and rekindled their friendship. The more and more time spent together relabeled them now as best friends. But it wouldn’t be until their mid twenties that realized they were more than friends. Denise says, “We didn’t like the idea of each other going out with other people. When we got together we knew that was it, straight away.”
Denise and Craig took the next 3 years exploring their newfound love in one another and eventually moving in together. Last September, now marking 6 years, Craig popped the question beside the beautiful Loch Rannoch. He then proceeded to whisk her away for her birthday/engagement weekend! Ahhh how romantic!
Denise & Craig were married on July 13, 2012 at the Athletic Club which overlooks Central Park. They chose NYC as their destination as it is their favorite city in the world! They were expecting to have an intimate affair which ended up as a 70 person international delight with guests hailing from Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Australia, Spain and of course New York. Denise was looking fierce in Scottish designer dress from La Novia.
