She worked for a real estate company… He was shopping for a home. However, she would not be his agent…
Deborah’s co-worker Angela was appointed as Jerry’s agent. Choosing the “right” place to call home is always a mission and for Jerry the journey would take 2 years. Over the course of the first year Angela would mention Jerry to Deborah and vise versa insisting they should meet. After two years they finally met. It was a brief introduction where they learned they lived minutes from each other.
Jerry called Deborah one day on his way home and asked to meet him outside her home. She agreed and they chatted sharing a lot of laughs. They were both completely surprised that Angela, whom had only known them individually for a year, could be the one who saw the connection. They thought, what could she know about the type of person we are both looking for? Even growing up in close proximity and being around the same age didn’t lend a hand to them crossing paths. Thanks to Angela’s intuition the two immediately felt a bond that neither would ever imagine one could feel.
Deborah sweetly says, “We knew it was love because it was a exclusive mutual feeling. He takes the words right out of my mouth.” Jerry describes his feelings towards as, “The feeling of emptiness when you weren’t with me. Being without you made me crazy. Having feelings that I never felt before. Missing you the moment you left me. Not being able to wait until the next time I saw your face….Staying up at night thinking of just you after just being with you…. People talking to me but I’m not hearing what they are saying… Trying to figure out a way to make you my wife”
After a year of bliss Jerry wanted to treat Deborah to a vacation and her destination of choice was Mexico. It was there, on a romantic Mexican getaway that he asked her to be his followed by a private dinner in their suite to celebrate.. Awwww…
Deborah & Jerry were married on June 23rd 2012 @ the Locanda Verde in Tribeca NYC. Deborah’s graciously cascaded down the aisle in a gown designed by Mustillo’s. The shared an intimate gathering of close friends and family and were married by none other than the person who brought them together, Angela! (Yes she actually just got ordained to marry them)!
