Years of dreaming, months of planning, all which unfolded even more amazing then you could have imaged … One day of ultimate bliss which leads the way to a lifetime of happiness….
We ask why should it be over after the “big day”? We have requested that our couples give us an update of where they are now along with a special memory from their wedding day.
Jessica & Dana

Life After The Big Day:
Dana and I have been doing a lot of traveling since the Wedding, trying to enjoy life before we start trying:)
Post Wedding Memories:br />I always think about us rocking out on stage with the band. Amazing. That and smashing a piece of cake in my husbands face during the cake cutting. There’s a memorable picture of him kissing me with that face while “I had the time of my life” played in the background. Our own Dirty Dancing moment!
Lauren & Jordan

Life After The Big Day:
After our wedding life has continued with lots of laughter and love and a blessing of a new little baby boy. We are quite busy with baby giggles, diapers and bottles!
Post Wedding Memories:
Before our outdoor ceremony the wind had picked up quite a bit, and we were nervous our candle lighting ceremony would not happen. The second I started walking down the aisle with my grandfather the wind stopped entirely and the chill in the air vanished. It was as if all of life’s angels had the world stand still for us. While reciting our vows, it felt surreal and so powerful. Candles were lit without a hitch. It was beautiful.
Hyla & Neal

Life After The Big Day:
Since our wedding in July, life has been amazing to say the least! Knowing that you are coming home everyday to your husband/wife is the most wonderful feeling in the world! Settling into a new life together and knowing that you now have your own family is priceless!
Post Wedding Memories:
A memory from our wedding that will always stay with us, was the first time that we saw each other! We will never forget the way that we both gasped when Neal was told to turn around and there was Hyla behind him, it was an incredible moment!
Thank you to my past brides & grooms for participating!! Please stay tuned, as we will be updating our new blog section “Where Are They Now” regularly.
I DO… AND I DO DON’TS!!

I encounter fabulous amazing affairs week after week and most of the time everything goes off without a hitch…Ok that’s almost true.. To my brides to be.. Here are some tips I strongly recommend to help you along the way in order to make your day “YOUR DAY”!!!
DO’S:
- Make sure to have your planner email all vendors and venue a week before. Make sure they speak and finalize with each and every vendor the week of to tie up all lose ends! This is so important ladies.. There should be no surprises upon arrival
- Make sure to be ready to go for hair & makeup.. The more “on time” you are the more images can be taken and quicker so you can move on to the ceremony & party time!
- Make family & friends aware that this is “YOUR DAY”. To many times others feel the need to express their opinions and it may not be what YOU want.
- Have fun.. Relax and enjoy the moment! It takes months of planning why waste it harping on every last detail! It’s your time to shine so go with it!
DON’TS:
- Micromanage…. As I mentioned above this is your wedding day and it’s over in a flash .. Don’t spend the most important day of your life worrying!
- Drink too much… You want to remember the day as it was not only viewed through images… Plus you want to look your best!!
- Be the queen for the day! Allow your friends and family to serve and take care of your needs… that’s what they are there for!

I don’t know where to begin … What a year so much has gone on its hard two put it into one blog post! We moved offices, opened our family division, and most importantly were able to work with a fantastic group of clients who we consider family!
As I reflect on 2011 I’m humbled and honored to have been able to capture my clients special memories with the help of my amazing team… Our photographers never cease to amaze me and our internal team remains dedicated to providing our clients with the best experience possible…. for that I am grateful.
I wish you all the best in 2012 and we look forward to seeing you in our new home!!
P.S. After many offers I always swore I would never do this image again then John made me offer I couldn’t refuse… Lol
Happy New Year!!!

Maryanne & John

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you achieve it.”
Paulo Coelho

Not time or even distance could keep Maryanne & John apart. Maryanne and John met in the fall of 2004 at Siena College through a mutual friend. Maryanne was a sophomore and John, a junior.

Over the last 7 years the pair were determined to remain together no matter where life took them. Maryanne states, “We knew it was love because we never gave up on each and we always made it work no matter how far were from one another.” Between Johns being on the road with his baseball team, and Maryanne’s studying abroad, made it difficult but in the same breathe created concreteness in their love. Destiny became more than just a word when they realized one isn’t complete without the other. For the last year Maryanne remained local teaching in NJ and traveled as much as possible to see John.

John’s proposal goes down in the books as one of the most original proposals! It took place in their Hoboken apartment while in his superhero underwear in order to make her laugh, not cry! Maryanne was both surprised and immensely happy. Friends and family joined them for a champagne and sushi celebratory dinner in NYC.

Maryanne & John were married on December 17th at the fabulous Capitale (NYC). Flowers by Carol’s Florist decorated the room with music by Dan Chavez of Scratch DJ to rock the dance floor. She cascaded down the aisle in a Lazaro Gown from Bridal Reflections on 5th Ave. Anne DeMarco provided makeup and hair by none other than Yossi Ivigi. She praises, “He is so much more than a stylist my hair was perfect the whole day! I was so excited with all of my vendors and couldn’t have been happier!

When John asked me to shoot this image I told him, “No way it was a once and a lifetime deal.” He propositioned me with a proposal I couldn’t refuse. To keep in theme with his actual proposal…

Alexis & Bradley

“Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.”
~Aristotle

Alexis & Bradley met 9 years ago at the University of Michigan freshman year. The couple shared many of the same friends but weren’t immediately chummy until they were juniors. Having all the same classes allowed them to connect becoming fast and dear friends. The real affection transpired that summer while the two were both interning in NY. The summer heat brought them together and they officially became Alexis & Bradley!

Alexis says, “There was no specific memory of when we both knew except as soon as we began it felt right!”

As the couple’s love grew Brad knew it was time. Alexis and Brad were in Central Park one October afternoon of last year, supporting her sister while she ran in a half marathon. Brad suggested the two go for a walk after the race was over to kill time before lunch. They approached the bridge and Brad recommended photographing the lake and the skyline over the bridge. As soon as she finished taking the picture, there he was on one knee with ring in hand. After she said yes he lead her to a secluded gazebo by the water where he set up a picnic with wine and rose petals. Très romantic!!!! The festivities continued when their families joined them, even Brad’s whom were flown up from Miami.

Alexis & Brad were married at Pier Sixty @ Chelsea Piers which was showered with flowers from Botanical Design and an amazing Chuppah from Baura NY. Moho Creative captured their motion picture on film as they rocked the night away, Alexis in Vera Wang, to the sounds of Ernest Mills of Hank Lane.

Thank you Alexis & Brad! We wish you the best in your life and were so happy to be part of it!
