Stacey & Justin

Our stories often begin in College, or through a friend or even at a party. This story begins on Craigslist. Ok I know what your thinking, Craigslist? Really? Stacey and her roommate were seeking a third roommate…. enter Justin.

They became close friends with time and eventually they blurred into something more. It was an attempt that unfortunately didn’t work. A little over a year had passed when Justin spotted her walking on the street. He had the cab driver stop, he caught up to her and they began to chat. It was evident something was still there but Stacey was currently involved. A few weeks later Stacey was off to Croatia with her then-boyfriend. While away she received 2 emails from Justin. It was perfect timing as Stacey was in the midst of ending her relationship. They were reunited and picked up right where they left off.

They knew pretty early on it that it was the real deal. They felt as though together they made sense. “We literally balance each other out in such a way that takes our breath away,” Stacey goes on to deliver her version of the Jerry Maguire classic, “We complete each other.” They wanted the best for the other more than for themselves… Awwwwwwwww

One evening Justin accompanied Stacey to rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel. She opened her menu she was stunned to find an additional page reading, “Stacey, will you marry me?”. He then asked her to be his and after the initial shock, she said yes. He had reserved a section of the rooftop for them to celebrate their new engagement!

They were married on March 25th 2012 at the Ole Mill Inn in Basking Ridge NJ. They rocked the dance floor to the sounds of Jimmy Dee. It was truly amazing!

Thank you Stacey & Justin for having us take part in your special day!

So now you’re married… should the party really be over…?

Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.
- Marcus Aurelius
Ariel & Matthew’s tale begins at Columbia University.

The duo began dating shortly after meeting at Columbia. Ariel & Matthew knew it was the real deal when they continuously made excuses to take classes together and spend every day with each other. They had the most fun in the one another’s company.

College came and went and their love flourished over time. It was while vacationing in San Francisco that Ariel’s fate would change forever. They were sitting by the Ferry Building looking out onto the bay when Matthew asked her to be his. Ariel recalls, “It was a very sweet moment for us.”

Ariel & Matthew were wed on May 13, 2012 at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye Brooke, NY. She floated down the aisle in a Reem Acra dress and Kate Spade shoes. Matthew was dashing in a Hugo Boss tux and Ferragamo shoes. Atlas Flowers adorned the room while Neshoma Orchestra rocked the dance floor!

Thank you Ariel & Matthew for sharing your special day with us!

“Our favorite memory of our wedding day was being introduced as husband and wife!” Jill recalls.
Since their wedding in December of 2010 they have been a wild and beautiful ride! After traveling to exotic destinations like New Zealand and French Polynesia for their honeymoon they were pleasantly surprised upon returned to learn they were expecting!!

They welcomed baby Mason to the world on September 20, 2011.

We would like to thank you for allowing us to take part in all of your special memories and hope to continue growing with your family!

Rachel & Neil

Ok so this a great story for all of you non-believers… Blind dates can actually be successful… And for Rachel & Neil, thankfully, this blind date would be there last first date.

Rachel, a recent transplant to Miami, received a call from a family friend looking to set her up with a great guy in the area. Encouraged by his brother, Neil, who usually cringed at the idea of a set up, called Rachel. The couple met a few weeks later at at Rosa Mexicano. It would be the first of many magical dates. Rachel even recalls Neil asking her on a 2nd date while still on their first. And to think he almost didn’t go…

They both knew they found the one because they had never felt that kind of love before. It was easy and natural and the best part was they could be themselves with one another.

For their one year anniversary Neil planned a wonderful activity packed day beginning with rides on jet skis on Biscayne Bay, South Beach followed by lunch overlooking the water then to the Fountainbleau Hotel. After hitting the gym and having a dip in the pool they both had relaxing massages. They headed home to shower before returning back to South Beach for dinner. A perfect day so far! Little did Rachel now that is would become one of the most memorable days of her life! While out, Neil’s brother and his wife decorated the apartment with roses, champagne, chocolates and a “Will You Marry Me?” teddy bear. When they arrived home she joined Neil moments later in the bedroom only to find him down on one knee with a ring held out and he asked her to be his. Rachel recalls her first words after the proposal being, “Is this a joke?” followed by a yes of course! They celebrated with family and friends that evening and brunch the next day.

Rachel & Neil were married on May 5th 2012 at the Mandarin Oriental in NYC. Golf Smitherong of Tatawan Bloom decorated the room to perfection but the main attraction was really the Monique Lhuillier dress Rachel rocked! We were joined in capturing their day by our friends Moho Creative and serenaded by the sweet sounds of Erik Marshal from Hank Lane.

We would like to take this time to thank you both and wish a lifetime of happiness!
